About The Role

ofi’s internship program is a great way to gain relevant experience to jump-start your career. You will work closely with exceptional talent, building on our purpose to “Be the Change for Good Food and a Healthy Future” and contributing to critical work for the business. As a Summer 2026 Intern, you will have opportunities to learn and contribute to what’s on trend in food & beverage while building a robust network, demonstrating leadership skills, and having fun.

As a Business Development Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work for a global food company, collaborate closely with various business teams, and gain exposure to business operations as well as project work to optimize and bring cost savings to the business through optimization.

The ideal candidate should be in good standing with an accredited university and have a desire to pursue a career within the food industry. Desire to learn in a fast-paced environment while working with teams on the shop floor across various locations and effective communication will be required for success in this internship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify the key metrics that measure the process effectively
  • Recommend process improvements which can result in work being done faster or with lesser resources
  • Explain the recommendations in a simple to execute manner to the shop floor teams
  • Take feedback to refine the process and capture improvements
  • Deliver a SOP for any future process improvements for the organization

What You’ll Bring

  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, working toward a bachelor’s degree, Masters, or MBA in Operations, Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline. Master/MBA preferred.
  • Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills require (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Effective communication ability and willingness to work with both data and people

The pay for this role in the state is $22-55 /hour and is based on position responsibilities and geographic location.

Interns whose permanent addresses are more than 35 miles from the work location are eligible for a stipend to offset relocation and housing costs.
