We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team at The Sebastian Vail. The ideal candidate is passionate about mixology, possesses excellent customer service skills, and has a deep understanding of drink preparation and presentation. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving drinks, and ensuring that guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience at our bar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and serve a variety of cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages according to our recipes and standards
- Provide exceptional service to guests, including greeting customers, taking drink orders, and engaging in friendly conversation
- Stay informed about our drink menu, including seasonal offerings and promotional items, to provide recommendations to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, restocking supplies, and disposing of waste
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, assist with ordering and restocking as necessary, and track drink ingredients and supplies
- Adhere to all health, safety, and liquor regulations, ensuring that all practices comply with local and state laws
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure seamless service and support during peak times
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale environment
- Knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage trends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid bartender's license or certification, as required by local regulations
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as needed
- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences
