POSITION SUMMARY:

In this role, your responsibilities will also extend beyond the bar. As part of our close-knit team, you'll play a crucial role in upholding operational standards that have made us successful for over a century. Working as a team will be key, ensuring stellar service and a positive atmosphere for both staff and guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and serve drinks from our signature menu. 
• Offer genuine interactions with guests, sharing the rich history of Owl Café while making them feel at home with warm and friendly conversations.
• Ensure the bar remains fully stocked with essential ingredients and maintain its cleanliness and appearance. 
• Memorize food and drink offerings, suggest pairings and answer questions about ingredients and preparation. 
• Efficiently process orders, manage tabs, and handle financial transactions with accuracy. 
• Maintain the highest cleanliness and safety standards, ensuring the bar area is inviting and compliant with health regulations. 
• Work cooperatively with kitchen and floor staff. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous bartending experience, demonstrating proficiency in crafting a range of beverages. 
• Familiarity with classic and contemporary cocktail recipes and a basic understanding of wine and beer offerings. 
• Must be 21 years old or older 
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect and communicate effectively with customers, ensuring a memorable guest experience.
• Able to uphold the quality and safety standards of the bar, with attention to detail and cleanliness. 
• Able to stand for extended periods and manage the physical demands of a busy bar environment, including lifting heavy items. 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Wage: $9.98 + Tips
