As our Benefits Partner, you’ll serve as a key resource for all health and welfare programs, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy for a self-insured environment. You’ll partner across HR, Payroll, vendors, and employees to keep programs compliant, efficient, and easy to navigate. Your work will directly influence employee experience, cost management, and the overall effectiveness of our Total Rewards programs.

  • Lead benefits education efforts, including orientations, open enrollment support, and ongoing communications.
401(k) Management
  • Oversee day-to-day 401(k) operations: eligibility, enrollments, contribution changes, loans, withdrawals, and compliance tasks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the recordkeeper and plan advisor, ensuring accurate data and timely issue resolution.

  • Analyze claims, utilization, and enrollment data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare reporting that supports decisions around cost, plan design, vendor performance, and program effectiveness.
Vendor, Compliance & Systems Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, Section 125, and maintain required plan documents and notices.
  • Participate in RFPs and ongoing vendor evaluations to support quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Contribute to system enhancements, workflow improvements, and overall employee experience initiatives.
Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
  • 5+ years of benefits administration experience (or equivalent combination).
  • Experience with brokers, carriers, TPAs, and wellness vendors.
  • Knowledge of HRIS/benefits systems, file feeds, and core benefit regulations.
  • Ability to analyze claims and benefits data to find actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • High attention to detail and strong organization across multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and comfort with large datasets.
A plus if you have…
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Health Administration.
  • CEBS, CBP, or similar credentials.
  • Experience supporting a self-insured medical plan.
Where You’ll Work: This is a fully remote position, and we’ll provide all the necessary equipment!
  • Work Environment: You’ll need a quiet workspace that is free from distractions.
  • Technology: Reliable internet connection—if you can use streaming services, you’re good to go!
  • Security: Adherence to company security protocols, including the use of VPNs, secure passwords, and company-approved devices/software.
  • Location: You must be US based, in a location where you can work effectively and comply with company policies such as HIPAA.
