This part-time position involves planning and leading therapeutic social and recreational activities for clients, assessing individual needs, and coordinating group events. This position will be working on Thursdays 12pm-4pm, Fridays and Saturdays 9am-5:30pm.
This position provides a variety of therapeutic social, recreational and diversional events for clients. Conducts individual assessment to identify the clients' individual interests/needs. Develops and implements an appropriate variety of individual and group activities. Participates in interdisciplinary planning. Coordinates recreation documentation for her/his assigned group of clients. Assists with training and supervising assigned volunteers and/or youth job program assistants/student interns and their activities. Leads facility wide client-directed events.
