Content Marketing Associate Exemption Status: Exempt Reports To: Director of Brand & Content Department: Marketing Status: Full-Time Permanent Location: Boston (hybrid) Position Summary 90% of the world's trade travels by sea, and we're delivering the platform that propels it. Veson Nautical is a long-established, privately owned, fast-growing technology company providing solutions in the maritime sector, and this is an exciting opportunity to join us as our first Content Marketing Associate. This is a junior role on our content and brand team, working cross-functionally to support a variety of marketing initiatives. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in several areas including blog management, social media, creative assets, content writing and editing, as well as working within programs such as Wordpress, Vimeo, Hootsuite, Hubspot, and more. Responsibilities - Support the production and delivery of high-quality marketing content and creative assets for Veson Nautical. This includes editing and proofreading, as well as producing net-new content in partnership with subject-matter experts and designers.
- Oversee the blog calendar, publishing, and performance across Veson's multiple websites, ensuring an optimal cadence, quality consistency, and keeping all stakeholders informed of deadlines and dependencies.
- Maintain our social media calendar and publishing cadences, leveraging Hootsuite and working closely with our Communications Manager. Ensure all social posts are error free, properly tagged, and tracked for performance.
- Be the steward of all content and creative file publishing and file management, working within Wordpress, Vimeo, Hubspot, our internal servers and other repositories as necessary to maintain version control, keep website links functional and current, and keep all stakeholders aware of the latest and greatest content.
- Edit existing marketing collateral and content as needed to update branding, reflect new product or industry changes, and/or optimize performance.

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, journalism, creative, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced business setting (internships included)
- Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
