Tygart is seeking a
Cyber Security Analyst to support a DOJ office in Clarksburg, WV. The ideal candidate must possess a current a Top-Secret clearance.
Key Responsibilities: - Support ISSOs in the evaluation of delivered software for security and compliance.
- Conduct dynamic, manual, and automated reverse engineering of binary files to identify vulnerabilities or malicious logic.
- Analyze and cross-reference code libraries with industry best practices, including OWASP Top 10.
- Perform:
- Static/dynamic analysis of known and unknown malicious binaries.
- Functional and behavioral analysis of source code and scripts.
- Hardware/firmware analysis, as needed.
- Assist stakeholders in identifying and evaluating technical and operational security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to knowledge transfer and internal briefings.
Qualifications: - Active Top-Secret Security Clearance (required).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Information Security, with a focus on software security analysis and cyber threat assessment.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: - Associates Degree
- CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or equivalent
