Summary We are hiring 2 more childcare assistant teachers to start immediately at our brand new center which is expanding a new infant/toddler room of one year olds! Looking for teachers who have a passion for nurturing children. We are looking for 4 infant/toddler assistant teachers, an early preschool assistant teacher. This position is a 10 hour shift, from 7:30AM - 5:30PM. Teachers who work 3 or 4 days a week are considered full-time and get benefits listed below. Teachers who want to work 1-2 days a week are considered part time and do not receive employer paid benefits, but can enroll voluntarily for self-paid benefits under the group rate. We do not offer discounted childcare for employees, but we do offer employer paid benefits after 3 months of employment, including paid virtual doctors visits for the whole family or pet insurance.
pay starts at 14.25, and increases to 15.25 with a CDA or associates.
Duties - Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts.
- Sanitize toys and play equipment.
- Identify signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring them to parents' or guardians' attention.
- Observe and monitor children's play activities.
- Keep records on individual children, including daily observations and information about activities, meals served, and medications administered.
- Instruct children in health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet habits.
- Read to children and teach them simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs.
Requirements - High school diploma
- Applicants with higher education in an ECE field of study are paid for their experience and education
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Before employment begins: - Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
- Complete 3 hours of free online training
Physical Requirements: - Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
- A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.

About Us Nurtured Growth Childcare Center is a new center opening in summer of 2025 in Osage Beach, MO. We will provide a play-based program with focus on health and well-being of children through physical movement, nutrition, and time spent outdoors as much as possible. This center will be located 1 block away from the local hospital. We will be offing enrichment classes through out the day for the children in the community. On Friday nights, we will be offering date night care from 5-9pm for the community. On Saturdays, we will be offering enrichment classes and Mom tribe groups.
