Description:

The Dental Assistant role involves supporting dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials.
This full-time position is located in Jackson Heights, NY, and requires working Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
The role demands proficiency in dental procedures and patient management.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
Basic CPR (BLS) Certification
Experience in hospital or community health center preferred
Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish, Hindi, Bangla, Urdu)
Knowledge of Medical/Dental Software preferred
Excellent customer service skills required

Qualifications:

One (1) year of clinical dental assisting experience preferred
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
Ability to communicate dental procedures and terminology effectively
Proficient in basic arithmetic operations
Reasoning ability to carry out instructions in various forms
Engaged in learning and continuous quality improvement
Responsive and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
