Job Description

Description We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Santa Clara, California. This role offers a great opportunity for individuals with foundational IT experience to provide essential technical support to end users. If you have a solid understanding of both Mac and Windows operating systems, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: - Provide first-level technical support for password resets, printer issues, and basic troubleshooting tasks. - Assist with setting up and maintaining conference room equipment for meetings, including Zoom and other collaboration tools. - Configure and deploy new laptops and ensure old devices are securely wiped and prepared for reassignment. - Perform physical adjustments to network equipment, such as plugging in and testing connections. - Educate end users on system functionalities and resolve minor technical issues. - Collaborate with the IT team to escalate complex problems and ensure seamless support. - Maintain accurate records of equipment and support activities. - Demonstrate a dependable and meticulous approach, delivering quality service to internal teams and staff. Requirements - Familiarity with both Mac OS and Windows operating systems. - Basic knowledge of IT support tasks, including troubleshooting and device setup. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively assist and educate users. - Ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability in completing assigned tasks. - Organizational skills to manage equipment and maintain accurate records. - Foundational understanding of networking concepts, with the ability to make physical adjustments to equipment. - Experience in supporting IT environments, either professionally or academically. - Flexibility to work approximately 25 hours per week, with potential for additional hours.
