Description We are looking for a dedicated Desktop Support Analyst to provide exceptional desktop support to our team in Walnut Creek, California. This Desktop Support Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, assisting with troubleshooting, hardware setup, and system maintenance. Responsibilities: - Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to resolve hardware and software issues efficiently. - Troubleshoot computer systems, swap out malfunctioning devices, and ensure minimal downtime for users. - Set up workstations and configure peripherals such as printers and scanners. - Perform desktop imaging and ensure consistent deployment of Microsoft Windows 10 across devices. - Travel occasionally between locations to provide on-site support as needed. - Maintain a detail-oriented and organized workspace, primarily based in Walnut Creek. - Collaborate with team members to enhance system functionality and user experience. - Document technical support activities and maintain detailed records of resolved issues. Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and related troubleshooting techniques. - Hands-on experience with computer and desktop imaging processes. - Ability to set up, configure, and manage hardware peripherals. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and users. - Willingness to travel occasionally between sites as required. - Prior experience in a help desk or desktop support role is preferred.
