Job Description

**Brookfield company looking to add an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to their growing team! **This role is responsible for managing all phases of a project, from initial bidding through to completion. This role combines analytical estimating skills with comprehensive project managementto ensure projects are completed on schedule, within busget, and to the required specifications. This role will analyze blueprints, develop detailed cost estimates, prepare bid proposals, and oversee the project's execution to ensure budget and timeline adherence.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Estimating- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documents.

  • Coordinate site measurements and inspections with commercial leads to assess installation requirements.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial garage door systems including materials and labor.
  • Use estimating software and spreadsheets to prepare quotes and bids.
  • Submit bids and proposals in a timely and professional manner.
  • Review vendor options to provide most cost competitive options on bids.
  • Follow up on submitted bids and provide clarification or revisions as needed.

• Collaboration and Documentation- Coordinate with internal departments including purchasing, upper management, and installation teams.

  • Maintain accurate records of vendor quotes, estimates, and client communications in CRM systems.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings.

Skills and Qualifications Desired

• Proven experience in both construction estimating and project management.
• Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Ability to effectively handle customer inquiries, concerns, and objections.
• Basic understanding of garage door products and services (training provided).
• PRoficient in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Blueprint reader, and other estimating related tools.
• Highly organized with a proactive and customer-first attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Goal-oriented with a focus on bid and project deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

This is a direct-hire, full time, 1st shift role. Pay ranges from $55-60K depending on experience.
