118 North is a restaurant, bar and live music club in Wayne, PA. Located at 118 N. Wayne Ave on Philadelphia’s Main Line, the venue features innovative Americana cuisine and high quality cocktails and brews, along with world class musical talent taking the stage each week. 118 North is an arm of the live event production company, Rising Sun Presents based out of Ardmore.

118 North includes intimate dinner seating in our bar room and our stage room; a wide variety of specialty cocktails, beers and wines; a state-of-the-art sound system; a professional performance stage; and top-notch talent in a warm and friendly atmosphere. From Rock & Roll to Americana, funk, roots, jam, blues, pop, and singer-songwriters, there’s live music for everyone’s taste to enjoy, against the backdrop of impeccable food & drink.

Responsibilities

• Develop business strategy to help to generate sales and increased profitability
• Work with Director of Operations to maximize net profitability for 118 North
• Analyze KPI on a weekly basis
• Oversee the training process for all roles
• Ensure scheduling meets the operational needs of the venue for every given week
• Update Menus in POS, Open Table, DoorDash, & Website
• Manage the floor responsibilities during service to ensure an excellent guest experience
• Ensure that Food & Beverage is being made to proper specifications and standards
• Create & Ensure SOP’s are being followed by the FOH & BOH staff
• Lead Guest Communication outreach and respond to online reviews
• Hire, Manage, Schedule, and train all FOH staff members
• Direct/coach Operations Supervisors
• Help to develop team members and implement growth strategies
• Issue corrective action and internal conflicts amongst team members
• Troubleshoot & Fix R&M items for the venue
• Create an organized Bar Inventory Process
• Assist in curating the beverage menu for 118 North
• Work with Chef on organized seasonal menu changes
• Ensure Bar & Food COGS are hitting goals
• Help with marketing strategy for 118 North including F&B, Events, and general promotional ads on social media/Google
• Ensure Venue is in compliance with State & Federal Labor Laws & Health Department Codes
• Process an accurate Payroll for 118 North
• Input tip matrix at the end of the night
• Conduct cash handling at the end of the night to reconcile cash sales
• Send out End Of Night report when closing the venue
• Close out bartenders, support staff & servers as applicable
• Secure the venue and lock up at the end of the night
• Work with Director of Operations on operational needs for the venue
• Help assist with general miscellaneous items for 118 North
