Compensation & Schedule

• $40–$47/hr BOE

• Schedule: 7am–7pm CST or 8am–8pm EST, Monday–Friday with flexibility for Saturdays

ROLE IMPACT

The Healthcare Area Manager oversees remote Micro-Hub teams supporting annual benefit re-verification initiatives. Serving as the central management liaison, this role drives operational excellence, ensures productivity targets are met, and upholds service standards. Key responsibilities include staffing, team leadership, client escalations, and data-driven decision-making aligned with strategic goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead daily operations for remote teams handling benefit re-verifications

• Supervise and coach Supervisors and Hub Leads to meet performance metrics

• Coordinate hiring, training, and performance monitoring of seasonal staff

• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve escalated reimbursement issues

• Track and report on KPIs; participate in business reviews and production huddles

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years in healthcare reimbursement or specialty medical insurance management

• Prior experience managing remote teams in high-volume support environments

• In-depth understanding of billing, appeals, coding, and payer systems

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant practice management experience preferred

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

• Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

• CRM and call center platforms

• HIPAA-compliant systems

• Insurance portals and payer communication tools

• Business intelligence/reporting dashboards

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer reimbursement

• Background in call center leadership or pharmacy hub services

• Strong project management and conflict resolution skills
