**This position is onsite 5 days per week in Bethlehem, PA**
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Daily management and coordination of shipments with both shippers and carriers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments. May involve decision making on LTL, FTL, Rail, Air, and International - Utilize logistics to optimize shipping and transport procedures - Manage shipper, carrier, and customer relationships - Own day-to-day logistics operations, as needed. - Update and report on key performance metrics to drive improvement efforts throughout the delivery process. - Monitor shipment costs and productivity processes. - Provide collaborative and prompt interaction with partnering team members and management. - Review shipping documents to ensure accuracy and correct any shipping errors. - Ensure that the quality of all services provided meets the required Company standards. - Develop processes to make the shipping process more efficient and organized. - Organize training sessions for employees (e.g. proper use of machines and handling of hazardous material) Requirements: - College degree preferred...Let's build the future-together.
