Job Title: Lease Operator II
Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Schedule: 8 days on / 6 days off

  Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lease Operator II to support production operations in the Carlsbad, NM area. This role focuses on safe and efficient fluid transfer operations around frac sites, inspections of pipelines and equipment, and coordination with field personnel and vendors.

  Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily with the Company Man at frac sites on operational needs and job priorities.
• Work with vendors at current and future frac and toe prep locations to ensure work is performed safely and according to plan.
• Ensure all pressure tests are completed correctly and in accordance with operator safety standards and procedures.
• Conduct pipeline inspections for leaks, integrity issues, and any signs of damage; promptly report and escalate findings.
• Verify that all pumps and transfer equipment are set up, operated, and maintained correctly during fluid transfer operations.
• Obtain, organize, and maintain maintenance records and operational documentation as required.
• Support a strong safety culture by following all site rules, reporting hazards, and participating in safety meetings and audits.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Prior experience as a Lease Operator / Pumper / Field Operator in oil and gas.
• Strong understanding of frac operations, fluid transfer, and pressure testing .
• Familiarity with pipeline inspection and basic mechanical troubleshooting of pumps and associated equipment.
• Demonstrated commitment to HSE standards , safe work practices, and proper documentation.
• Ability to work a rotational schedule (8 on / 6 off) in field conditions.
