Job Title: Medical Surgical Nurse (RN - Med Surg) - TRAVEL Location: Phoenix, AZ Position Overview: ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Surgical Nurse with Medical-Surgical expertise to join our team for a contract assignment in Phoenix, AZ. The MEDICAL SURGICAL REGISTERED NURSE (RN) is a healthcare provider who through education and experience possesses a distinct body of knowledge and skills relative to the care of the patient across the lifespan who is experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical interventions. The MEDICAL SURGICAL REGISTERED NURSE (RN) applies general nursing knowledge in assessing, implementing, and evaluating patient response to general and specific conditions, general therapies and interventions. • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: January 6, 2025
• Shift: Night shift, 36 hours per week

* 12 hours shifts, weekend: rotating, call: * Pay Rate: Competitive pay of $2282 per week, $63.40 hr. Job Requirements:

• Experience: Two years of experience
• Certification: BLS required
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arizona required or approved compact state of residence
• Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) CERNER
• Additional Requirements: compliance with current facility health standards

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel and medical staff.
• Ability to problem solve and engage independent critical thinking skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality relevant to sensitive information.
• Ability to adhere to hospital and department procedures.
• Ability to prioritize work demands and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment relevant to changing patient needs
• Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) 1:6, # beds: 52
