Job Title: Sales/Business Development Manager

Location: Secaucus, New Jersey, 100% onsite

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Salary: $85,000-$115,000/year based on experience

Job Description:

The Sales/Business Development Manager will drive growth by expanding the organization’s client base, enhancing strategic partnerships, and strengthening the company’s brand in the logistics and supply chain sector. The candidate will identify new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and work closely with internal teams to ensure competitive service offerings.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients and partners, both domestically and internationally.

  • Business Development: Generate qualified sales opportunities through proactive outreach and consultative presentations of company services.

  • Account Management: Engage with key accounts to manage pricing, service expectations, and strategic planning.

  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, agreements, and rates with clients, partners, and vendors while ensuring compliance with company policies.

  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends to develop pricing strategies and make informed dynamic pricing decisions.

  • Contract Management: Prepare, issue, and execute sales contracts and agreements, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and manage partnerships with carriers, warehouses, and overseas partners to enhance service quality and competitive pricing.

  • Collaboration: Work with leadership and cross-functional teams to propose new business verticals and strategies to maintain the organization’s market competitiveness.

Qualifications Required:

  • Language: Proficiency in Korean is preferred but not required, as it may facilitate communication with certain international clients and partners.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Experience: 10 or more years in freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain, sales, business development, B2B sales, and marketing.

  • Skills: Proven expertise in conflict management, business negotiation, cross-functional planning, and technology fluency.

  • Travel: Willing to travel domestically and internationally to meet clients and partners.
