**Description** **Security Guard Supervisor** **General Description:** · Responsible for implementing and managing location Post Orders · Responsible for managing a secure entrance and perimeter for the facility · Learn all the jobs of your immediate staff. · Ensure completion and accuracy of reports done by staff · Complete daily and weekly reports as needed · Supervise, train, and evaluate performance of staff; implement disciplinary procedures when necessary. · Resolve employee's conflicts and issues promptly and objectively. · Direct communication with company and outside services · Work in the Order Management System/Shop Floor · Work with the Plant Shipping/Shag Service/Traffic · Work with the Traffic Department to coordinate shipping date, times, and locations · Maintain logs for inbound and outbound trucks · Attend meetings as scheduled · Reports to Safety Manager · Other duties as assigned **Required skills:** + Previous security related experience preferred but not required + Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not required + 10-key and computer skills required + Ability to handle conflict + Ability to think critically and problem solve + Attention to detail and ability to multi-task + Communication skills-written and verbal + Ability to speak multiple languages is preferred but not required + Self-starter and Team player + Strong leadership / management skills + Must be able to demonstrate effective people skills + Reliable attendance record + Must be able to pass a Background Check **Working Conditions:** + Must be able to work in security guard shacks, security vehicles in hot, cold, and rain conditions + Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions + Must be able to walk, run, sit and stand for extended periods of time + Lift up to 50lbs. **Education Requirements (if applicable)** + High School Diploma or GED equivalent EOE, including disability/vets
