Job Role: Senior Business Analyst

Location: Irving, TX

Mode of Hiring: Long Term Contract

• Lead requirement elicitation sessions with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.
• Analyze and document current & future state workflows for property valuation, order management, reconciliation, and audit.
• Develop and maintain deliverables such as BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Process Flows, Wireframes, and Data Mapping Documents .
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate data sources , define SLAs, and establish success criteria.
• Partner with technical teams to support API specifications, file feeds, and integration design .
• Drive UAT planning & execution , including creation of test scenarios, coordination with QA teams, and business sign-offs.
• Act as a liaison between business and engineering teams to resolve clarifications and manage change requests.
• Support product roadmap development and backlog grooming sessions in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory & investor requirements (FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA, etc.) in valuations.

• Strong knowledge of mortgage lifecycle , particularly collateral valuation in origination & servicing.
• Experience with valuation products ( BPO, full appraisal, hybrid appraisal, etc. ).
• Familiarity with valuation compliance (FHA/VA/USDA guidelines, appraisal independence).
• Awareness of emerging trends in valuations such as Automated Collateral Evaluation (ACE), risk-based valuation strategies, etc.

• Expertise in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting functional & non-functional requirements .
• Skilled in process modeling (as-is / to-be) using Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools.
• Strong experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing product backlog .
• Proficiency in data mapping and business rules translation for validations & calculations.
• Strong stakeholder communication & engagement with both business and technical teams.

• Hands-on with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile project management tools .
• Proficient in Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent process flow tools .
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data validation).
• Familiarity with API specifications .
• Exposure to mortgage platforms is a plus.

• Excellent verbal & written communication .
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
• Project management capabilities to handle timelines, resources, and deliverables.
