What are we looking for?

We’re on the hunt for a talented Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team at Fresh. If you have strong visual design instincts, a passion for digital products, and a deep understanding and appreciation for human-centered design… we would LOVE to meet you. In this role, you’ll work alongside an ambitious team of designers in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary consulting environment serving as a lead and a major contributor on client-facing projects.

What you’ll do:

• Create compelling Visual Design and UX deliverables that serve and transcend our clients’ business needs.
• Act as design lead on client projects, presenting our thoughts, designs and delivering high-quality work.
• Work collaboratively to help to solve complex problems using human-centered design methodologies.
• Create design deliverables, leading the team to research, conceptualize, critique, execute, and validate digital experiences across a broad spectrum of work.
• Participate in client-facing workshops and presentations, communicating and educating our clients on the value of design.
• Collaborate with designers, helping newer designers learn and improve their skills, sharing knowledge of design best practices and tools across the team.

What you’ll bring:

• 6+ years relevant experience designing engaging software and web experiences.
• Highly developed design skills, demonstrated in your portfolio of recent work.
• A strong understanding of current visual UI trends and how to leverage them in your work.
• A deep understanding of human-centered design with a demonstrated ability to deliver strategic design thinking in support of inspiring products and interactive experiences.
• Experience serving as a design lead across the full lifecycle of a project.
• A passion for great design, creativity, and innovation.
• Intimate knowledge and experience with current design and prototyping tools (Figma + Adobe).
• Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage work to meet project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams consisting of researchers, designers, developers, and directors.
• Strategic design thinking in support of inspiring products and interactive experiences
• Confident presentation and storytelling abilities.
• An interest in emerging technologies and new forms of human-computer interaction.
• Strong communication, including presentation and written skills.​​

For a Washington-State-based role, the base salary hiring range for this position is $110,000 to $135,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
